License Activation

Activate your Pro or Agency license to unlock premium features

Your license key unlocks the full potential of Tailwind CSS Builder. Depending on your plan (Pro or Agency), activation enables premium elements like sliders and forms, the AI assistant for generating page sections, Figma import for converting designs, and much more. This guide walks you through the activation process step by step.

Locate Your License Key

First, you'll need to find your license key from your purchase:

  1. Log in to your account at tailwindcssbuilder.com
  2. Navigate to the Licenses section in your account dashboard - you'll find this in the main menu
  3. Copy your license key - Click the copy button next to your license key to copy it to your clipboard
License Key Format

Your license key looks like: XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX (a UUID format with groups of letters and numbers separated by hyphens).

Enter License Key

Now enter your license key in the WordPress admin:

  1. Go to TW Builder > Settings in your WordPress admin sidebar
  2. Click the "License" tab at the top of the Settings page
  3. Paste your license key in the input field - use Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac) to paste
  4. Click "Activate License" to submit your key for verification

Verify Activation

After clicking Activate, the system will verify your license with our servers:

  1. Wait for verification - This usually takes just a few seconds
  2. Look for the green success message - You should see "License activated successfully"
  3. Check your plan type - Your plan (Pro or Agency) will be displayed in the License tab

Congratulations! Your license is now active. Premium features like the AI assistant, Figma import, animations, and all premium elements are now available in the builder.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during activation, here are the most common problems and their solutions:

"Invalid license key"

This means the license key wasn't recognized. To fix this:

  • Double-check that you copied the entire key without any extra spaces
  • Make sure there are no typos - copy and paste directly rather than typing
  • Verify you're using the key from the correct account

"License already activated"

Each license has a limited number of activations. If you see this error:

  • Log in to your account at tailwindcssbuilder.com
  • Go to the Licenses section
  • Deactivate the license from any old or unused sites
  • Return to WordPress and try activating again

"Connection error"

This indicates your server couldn't reach our license verification service:

  • Check that your server can make outbound HTTPS connections
  • Verify that api.lemonsqueezy.com is not blocked by your firewall
  • Try again in a few minutes - there may be temporary network issues
  • Contact your hosting provider if the problem persists
Activation Limits

Each license has activation limits based on your plan. Remember to deactivate old sites before activating on new ones to free up activation slots.
